Yasmim Flores is a Brazilian multidisciplinary visual artist, performer, and art educator based in Rotterdam. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts (2008) from FAAP in São Paulo, complemented by a university extension program at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris (ENSBA) in 2009.

 As an art educator, she has a solid background in early childhood development and sensitivity, having worked at EAV Parque Lage (Visual Art School from Rio de Janeiro) and at the pioneering school Casa Redonda Centro de Estudos (São Paulo). Since 2020 she is teaching Music and Art for children at the Brazilian music Choro School, located in the WMDC/Codarts building in Rotterdam.

Her institutional roles include serving as an External Expert for the final graduation exams at the Willem de Kooning Art Academy (Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences) and as a jury member for the São Paulo State Government Culture Award ('Arts for Children' category).

Her artistic and educational practice focuses on children's culture and early childhood; in 2014, she founded "Pintura Viva" (Vibrant Paint), a multisensory art project exploring gestural painting through the use of natural paints. Initially developed through extensive actions at MAM (Museum of Modern Art of São Paulo), she continues to run and independently evolve the project with the support of local grants in the Netherlands, such as Cultuur Concreet and Opzoomeren.

Since 2018, she has been developing her work independently from her studio in Rotterdam, regularly showcasing her art in collective exhibitions including recent ones at Garage Rotterdam (2022) and NDSM Amsterdam (2025) and performing at theaters and festivals across the Netherlands, France, and Brazil.
